Conversation with an evolutionist III

Me Original: "Darwin held onto the theory for 20 years because there were too many holes in t. Only the urging of prideful men got him to release it against His better judgment."

Chris: Why do you capitalize "His"?! Are you claiming Darwin is God?!?!?! Heh, just kiddin' ya, buddy. But you might wanna check your research, friend; my sources tell me that Darwin was quite serious about and confident in his theory.

Me Rebuttal: Habit I suppose, I get so use to capitalizing the word him, since I am writing about God so much. Listen, give me some supporting evidence, it seems like you are just spouting lies fed to you by your Evolutionist religion. Does that sound familiar? You use that on me so much, is it because if you accuse me first, hopefully no one will notice that is what you are doing?

Give me some references! I have Darwin's own writing to support what I said, check this out:One thing never reported by most Darwinians: Charles Darwin's own statements of doubt about his theory. He openly acknowledged "the extreme difficulty or rather impossibility of conceiving this immense and wonderful universe … as the result of blind chance or necessity." His subsequent disciples evidently dismiss that thought. Doesn't fit the "Theory." With his "The Origin of Species" about to be released, he wrote to fellow British biologist George Bentham, "Thank you heartily for what you say about my book; but you will be greatly disappointed; it will be grievously too hypothetical. It will very likely be of no other service than collocating some facts; though I myself think I see my way approximately on the origin of species. But, alas, how frequent, how almost universal it is in an author to persuade himself of the truth of his own dogmas. My only hope is that I certainly see very many difficulties of gigantic stature." Now there is a quote how is that for sweet justice? Do you like the part about persuading himself of his own dogmas? Even Darwin saw what he was doing, and you accuse of it, your own founder admits to it. Charles Darwin birthed a flawed theory, and he knew it from the time of its first publication.

Not to mention one of the building blocks to his theory was the "simple cell". We now know that human cell is more complex than New York City, more complex than anything man has ever made. I suppose if you throw a 10 more billion years on you can account for that, will that be the plan? Evolution was based on the simple cell, little did Darwin know; there are some two trillion chemical experiments or movements that are taking place in every cell of your body every second of your life. Yes that was the words trillion and second used together!

Just accept that it is a dying theory, only being upheld by those who refuse to consider a higher power because you don't want to deal with your sin problem. You have to hang onto something I suppose. If you are going to rebel against your creator do it outright, because hiding behind the theory will never give you a thirst for truth. Isn't that what you want, to understand truth? Your way is like taking pain meds to deal with a horrible bleeding wound. You may not feel any pain, but you are going to bleed to death and die!

Chris: And evolution isn't a religion any more than thermodynamics is. It's science. Science that, as Q points out, you apparently don't really understand. Read some science texts, so that you can get some real information, rather than cherry-picked propaganda spoon-fed by an organization with a blatant agenda.

Me Rebuttal: I am sorry but thermodynamics is a law, evolution does not even truly meet the scientific definition for a theory. Plus read the definition of religion above and you will see how one is science and one is religion. I do read science text books. Scientists that support creation have no agenda but the truth. Throughout history man's fallible brains have been proven wrong.

Me Original: "As far as your link, it shows how passionate evolutionists are talking about the theory, just as passionate as a Christian. It's religion not science!"

Chris: That doesn't prove it's religion. Would scientists even study biology if they weren't passionate about it? You're just being Silly, my boy. ;)

Me Rebuttal: See definitions of religion above, it is a religion. I never said a scientist would not study biology if they were not passionate about it, so I am not that silly, my boy. I said they are so passionate when it comes to evolution, because it is there religion. They don't get passionate about thermodynamics (one reason is because it so clearly goes side by side with what The Bible says), but they get passionate about the things that they can hold onto, no matter how little evidence, so they can rest easy and not think about the coming judgment. It grieves me very much.

Chris, my family and I pray for you every night. The only way you can find out about God, is to honestly seek him. You must remove the pride, and be humble, which most refuse to do. But if you are willing to do that, I would be glad to help you along, and guarantee God will reveal Himself to you. That is the only way you can know for sure, is to give it a try. Take care brother.
